Jason Calacanis - seines Zeichens Investor, Entrepreneur, Blogger und Mitveranstalter der "Techcrunch 50" hat in seinem Twitter-Account vor wenigen Minuten alle relevanten Informationen zum Apple Tablet ausgeplaudert. Calacanis ist in mehreren großen Internetfirmen investiert und leitender Mitarbeiter bei Sequoia Capital. Sollten alle Angaben stimmen, wird das Tablet wohl wirklich die Elektronikwelt revolutionieren. Calacanis sagt selbst, dass er als einer der Beta-Tester ausgewählt wurde und das Tablet für zwei Wochen Tage testen konnte. Anbei die Tweets:

Yes, there are 2cameras: one in front and one in back (or it may be one with some double lens) so you record yourself and in front of u.
Apple Tablet has thumbpads on each side for mouse guestures, reads fingerprint for security. Up to 5 profiles by finerprint for family.
Yes, apple tablet is oled + back has solar pad for recharging, but it really doesn't work quickly. More a gimmic. Verizon+att,wifi yes!

wenn davon 10% wahr sind, dann bin ich schon zufrieden. Gerade bei der Baterie würde sich apple nie mit 3 h zufrieden geben und nen solar panel zum laden ...genau.. also ich denke Jason will sich nur nen bissel wichtig tun!

Jason ist doch bekannt dafür Buzz zu erzeugen.
Mahalo.com lebt davon ... ich denke nicht dass das so 100&#xig; stimmt. Aber schön wäre es, denn wenn der Preis stimmt und die Features tatsächlich alle drin wären .... omg Augmented Reality mit den 2 Kameras wäre ebenso eine feine Sache wie HDTV Tuner... Wir werden es heute Abend wissen!

Denkst Du denn nicht, dass sich Jason eher schaden würde, wenn er derartige Details posten würde, die er sich einfach aus den Fingern saugt? Wäre dies der Fall und einige seiner Aussagen falsch, dann würde das wohl stark an seiner Glaubwürdigkeit kratzen. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass jemand wie Jason für ein bisschen Buzz (ohne Bezug auf Mahalo) solche Dinge erfindet. But we`ll see

Also wenn heute tatsächlich das Tablet kommt - und ich glaube daran - dann pack ich morgen mein altes MacBook ein und schicke es zu Flip4New. Hab ja noch mein MBP Unibody und das reicht ja.
Das tolle ist, dass ich dadurch das Tablet günstiger bekomme und auch ohne Risikio mein MB wegbekomme. *Freu* *ichwilldasesschonabendist*

Also ich glaube nicht, dass das Ding zwei Kameras hat aber die ganze Sache mit Farmville und den Games könnte schon echt gut sein.
Die spielt ja mittlerweile jeder und wenn man das gemütlich vom Sofa aus machen könnte wäre das schon klasse!

Also ich finde es schon einen Unterschied ob Du einen "schweren" 15 Zoll MacBook Pro mit Aufklapp-Bildschirm auf dem Schoß hast oder nur ein schönes dünnes und leichtes Tablet. Mit nem Macbook Pro kann man nicht wirklich in allen Sitz- und Liegepositionen arbeiten oder zocken. Mit nem Tablet schon.
Ich freu mich schon sehr - noch knapp 3,5 Stunden!
